ingredients

  • 1 Current Tuna filet
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Juice and zest of a lemon

Directions

  1. Slice the tuna thin, about 1/4 inch thick. A knife tip: draw your knife back towards you to cut, so you only slice in one direction. Avoid sawing at the filet.
  2. Arrange the fish on a large plate, and drizzle the oil, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and lemon zest around it. Serve immediately.

Tip

This Current Crudo is perfect as a plant-powered appetizer for a group or as a quick meal — just add some greens and grains as a base.
