In our last post, we shared the scoop on the nutritional makeup of Current Tuna. But, we know some of you are still wondering about how our fish made from plants get their color. Is the color artificial? It canโ€™t possibly be from plants?!โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

Well, weโ€™ve always liked a challenge. The color is entirely plant-based as well. More specifically, itโ€™s from tomatoes and radish ๐Ÿ…โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
In order to perfect that beautiful, delicious-looking red, we take the tomatoโ€™s orange-red hues and mix it with the purple-red hues of radish until the right color is found. Much like Picasso used colors to express his feelings, Current Tuna red is meant to awaken the appetite and be a feast for the eyes as well.โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

We like to think of Current Tuna as a cocktail of veggies. It's a mix of imaginative food science and earthly ingredients, including veggies like tomatoes, peas, and algae that come together to form the perfect plant-based substitute for our cousin tuna.
